Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to be one of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. Kitten Rescue volunteers place over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. Since we began, we have rescued and placed over 31,000 cats (and counting!) into loving homes.

#GivingTuesday is an international day of giving that follows the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and kicks off the giving season. The past two years we have celebrated by clearing one city shelter of all available cats. Last year 42 cats found homes for the holidays, thanks to our dedicated foster parents and generous donors.
